The resource library
Three routes to the same destination: understanding AI well enough to make your own decisions about it. Read, watch, or study, whichever suits how your brain works.
Guides & Explainers
Our own written walkthroughs. One concept per guide, ordered from absolute beginner to properly technical.
- AI basics, ethics, and advanced topics
- Separate tracks for kids and educators
- Every guide reads in under 10 minutes
Video Library
Short videos we produce ourselves, using everyday examples instead of equations. Built as a free alternative to paid courses.
- One idea per video, under 10 minutes
- No prior knowledge assumed
- Watchable on a phone, anywhere
Free Courses
Want to go deeper than we can take you? These are the best courses and YouTube series on the internet that cost nothing.
- Checked for hidden costs and paywalls
- University lectures, free to audit
- Sorted by level and time commitment

Tell us who you are and we'll point you at the right shelf.
"I know nothing about AI"
Start with What is AI, really? in the guides, then watch How machines learn. That's about fifteen minutes total, and it covers most of what people mean when they say "AI".
"I'm teaching this next week"
Head to the educator track in the guides for lesson-shaped material and discussion prompts, then grab a video to open the class with.
"I'm worried about my data"
Go to the ethics section of the guides. Data & privacy and AI bias cover what these systems collect, what they get wrong, and what you can actually do about it.
"I already get the basics"
Skip to the advanced guides for language models and computer vision, then move on to the free university courses. Some of them are genuinely excellent.
Our blog
The resource library is the evergreen stuff: the concepts that don't change. The blog is where we cover what's happening right now: new tools, news worth understanding, and answers to questions people send in.
